Existence of Smallpox has been 12,000 years throughout history and it alone killed between 300-500 million people. THE BLACK DEATH (1346-1353):<strong> <\/strong><\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"656\" src=\"https:\/\/mamlabs.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/black-death-1024x656.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-632\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/black-death-1024x656.jpg 1024w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/black-death-300x192.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/black-death-768x492.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/black-death.jpg 1073w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This was also a bubonic plague and killed 75 \u2013 200 million people.<\/li><li>It ravaged Europe, Africa, and Asia from 1346 to 1353.<\/li><li>It is thought to have originated in Asia. <\/li><li>It most likely jumped continents via the fleas living on the rats that so frequently lived aboard merchant ships. <\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ports were the perfect breeding ground for the rats and fleas those days, and thus the insidious bacterium flourished, devastating three continents in its wake.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">4. But recent discoveries have found that H3N8 virus subtype was the cause.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The first cases were observed in May 1889 in three separate and distant locations of Bukhara in Central Asia (Turkestan), Athabasca in north-western Canada, and Greenland and spread across the globe.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">6.
