How does a child\u2019s heart beat change from birth to growth? <\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heart rate changes greatly during child development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The typical heart rate in a new-born is 130 beats per minute (bpm).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It drops to 100 bpm by the time the child reaches 3 years old, 90 at 8 years old, and 85 at 12 years old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mamlabs.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Heartbeat_web.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6975\" width=\"686\" height=\"466\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Heartbeat_web.webp 611w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Heartbeat_web-300x204.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 686px) 100vw, 686px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the age increases, the heart beat decreases and after growing up it comes to the normal level i.e. 72 (between 60-100) beats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If your resting heart rate is above 100, it\u2019s called <strong>tachycardia<\/strong>; and below 60, it\u2019s called <strong>bradycardia<\/strong>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">8. <strong>Is there a change in red blood cell count in people living at high altitudes?<\/strong><\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of red blood cells increases among persons living at high altitudes.
